George Skelton joined Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking in New York this week as a director in its cross asset solutions group. He is coveringr institutional accounts for the distribution of structured credit products.
Skelton will report to Jean de Lavalette, who is managing director and deputy head of sales.
The new hire was formerly a credit structurer at Merrill Lynch and Bear Stearns in London. For the last two years he worked as a self-employed trader and independent structured credit consultant.
