Blake Gilson has joined Dechert's collateralized loan obligation (CLO)

Gilson started at the firm on March 25, and will specialize in complex credit and insurance solutions, according to a company statement. A Fordham Law School graduate, Gilson was previously an associate at Milbank, here he was an associate. Dechert's Global Finance group works on complex deal structures including rated funds and CLO equity funds, while representing various institutions, including issuers, arrangers and investment managers.

Gilson will be based in the firm's New York office, the company said.
