Shenkman Capital Management, Investment fund manager and collateralized loan obligation sponsor announced that Jay Williams, a finance entrepreneur and retired National Basketball Association player and ESPN analyst, has joined the Shenkman Capital Management's board of directors.
Williams co-founded Simatree, a strategic advisory firm that specializes in analytics, data, technology consultation and digital transformation, and he is a partner at Galway Holdings, an insurance and technology consulting firm. He also co-owns Improbable Media with Giannis Antetokoumpo.
"Amid what is an incredibly dynamic market environment for Shenkman's investment strategies, Jay's business development expertise and vast network of relationships will be invaluable as we continue to grow," according to a statement from Mark Shenkman, founder and president of Shenkman.
