Accelerate Infrastructure Opportunities just finalized a $450 million securitization, with bonds secured by a diversified pool of infrastructure sites across 39 states that support digital infrastructure, renewable energy and transportation projects.
The private placement deal was a huge leap in securitization value from its inaugural securitization in October 2024, when it raised $150 million, according to the company.
The securitization includes an interest in a data center site with a solar power array that provides power to the project, the company announced.
Company officials cited the long-term nature of the underlying contracts, which can extend to 10 to 30-plus years, as a strength of the deal. Proceeds from the deal will allow the Accelerate Infrastructure to continue guying real estate assets tied to critical infrastructure, the company said.
The deal came to market with Cantor Fitzgerald as the sole structuring advisor. Cantor Fitzgerald was also joint placement agent with TD Securities, the company said.
Accelerate is funded by CBRE Investment Management, a leading global real estate investment management firm, and launched its infrastructure strategy in 2022, which involved assembling land for projects including renewable energy and digital infrastructure projects.
