Anthony Thompson joined Deutsche Bank as a managing director in the firm's securitization research group. Thompson, who moved over from Goldman, Sachs & Co., will report to research group head Karen Weaver. As he did at Goldman, Thompson will focus on collateralized debt obligations.
Moody's Investors Service assigned an Aa1 rating to AXA Re Finance, a significant provider of soft capital to the monoline financial guarantors, according to Moody's. The rating will provide additional capital relief to the monolines. AXA Re Finance is owned by AXA Corporate Solutions and BNP Paribas.
