Christopher Skardon has been appointed as a first vice president and senior trader on the ABS trading desk at Prudential Securities Inc. Previously, Skardon was a director and head ABS trader at Deutsche Bank Securities for three years.

Reporting to Joseph Donovan, John Solniesky joined Credit Suisse First Boston as an associate in the asset-backed securities group. Solniesky moved over from Salomon Smith Barney, where he had been for three years.

Andrew Davidson & Co. has hired Michael D. Herskovitz to help expand the firm's capabilities in technology consulting and work with clients on new Internet technologies and risk management systems. Andrew Davidson provides consulting services and risk analytics for fixed income investors. Previously, Herskovitz was a managing director at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.

Stephen Skerrett, head of securitization in U.K and Europe for Greenwich Natwest, has announced that he is leaving the company. His departure follows the defection of four Greenwich NatWest fixed-income derivative directors who resigned for jobs at Lehman Brothers.
