Adding muscle to its local securization effort, Banco Santander in Brazil has hired Antonio Oliveira as an associate of its capital markets group. Formerly, Oliveria was at ABN AMRO, where he worked for nearly a year as an associate on the debt capital markets team. Prior to that, he spent a total of five years in the Latin American debt capital markets and credit groups at JPMorgan Chase. In his new role, Oliveira will join Vice President Ricardo Leoni in building structured transactions, especially real estate receivable deals (CRIs) and credit receivable investment funds (FIDCs).
