LCM Nabs Two European Securitization Pros from S&P

LCM Partners Limited (LCM) has added Ilaria Vignozzi and Nadya Aleshina, two former directors at Standard & Poor's, to its consulting team.

Vignozzi joins as a a senior analyst. She spent the last eight years as a director at S&P covering the securitization and structured finance markets. Prior to that, she worked for three years in the Financial Institutions Group working on financial institution ratings. She has an extensive knowledge of asset-backed securities, residential mortgage-backed securities, covered bonds and other complex structured finance products across European jurisdictions.

Aleshina was a director on S&P's structured finance team for seven years; she focused on European residential mortgage-backed securities. Prior to tat, she was a business analyst with Barclays Global Investors in London and has held several research roles within the research centre of Unicef in Milan, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the World Bank in Moscow.

LCM Partners, a member of the Link Financial Group, has to date acquired in excess of 1,800 portfolios representing over €11 billion ($13 billion) of face value. Over the last four years, LCM  launched two consumer non-performing loan funds with its joint-venture partner, Insight Investment Management and in July 2014 launched a new credit opportunities Fund under the LCM Partners brand.

In December 2013, the company was selected by the European Central Bank to provide advisory services on its Loan Level Initiative (an ECB initiative that establishes loan-level data requirements for European securitizations). LCM is contracted to provide advisory services on both existing and future ABS data disclosure initiatives to the central bank until 2017.
