S&P Valuation and Risk Strategies will provide independent valuations for various fixed income securities to GlobeOp Financial Services.
The securities evaluations unit within S&P Valuation and Risk Strategies will offer market-driven, independent valuations for fixed income, structured finance securities, and syndicated bank loans to GlobeOp for fast distribution over its platform to hedge funds and asset management firms. These companies include banks, insurance companies, mutual and pension funds as well as proprietary traders.
“S&P’s independent valuations, coupled with our ability to add the assumptions we use to derive them, offers GlobeOp’s hedge fund and institutional clients an added level of transparency and understanding,” said Frank Ciccotto, a senior vice president at S&P Valuation and Risk Strategies.
GlobeOp is an independent provider of automated, integrated middle- and back-office, administration and risk reporting services to hedge funds and asset management firms.
