Freddie Mac recruited Anthony S. Piszel as executive vice president and CFO, in an effort to mend internal financial reporting and bring its accounting practices in line with GAAP.
Piszel, who held the same title at L.A.-based managed health care provider Health Net as executive vice president and CFO, will oversee the company's financial controls, financial reporting, tax, capital oversight, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. He will also be in charge of Health Net's annual budgeting and financial planning processes.
Piszel will start at Freddie Mac on Nov. 13.
