Fitch Unveils Revamped Web Site

Fitch IBCA last week rolled out an upgraded Web site designed to provide investors with faster and easier access to ratings information and published research.

Located at www.fitchibca.com, the site provides users with free access to information on a variety of areas covered by the rating agency. The site also posts reports on rating actions as they are released by Fitch IBCA officials.

And, in keeping with Fitch IBCA's international business, the Web site also features a section devoted to deals and trends occurring in Japan, presented to readers in Japanese.

In the securitization arena, the Web site will feature reports on all of the sectors analyzed by the rating agency. Also included will be Fitch IBCA's well-regarded surveillance data, which tracks the performance of several asset classes, including commercial paper, auto loans, credit cards, collateralized bond obligations and equipment leases. Also included on the site are the latest figures from Fitch IBCA's credit card index, which tracks the overall performance of the credit card transactions rated by Fitch.

"Our aim from the outset has been to address the increasing needs of investors for easy and timely access to rating information, and market demands for greater transparency," said Stephen Joynt, Fitch IBCA's president. - JS
