Astorina's research on the auto lease market is part of Fitch's new quarterly review entitled In the Auto ABS Driver's Seat.
"We've completed an extensive study of about 10 years of auto loss and delinquency data," Astorina said. "And we've come up with a few new research tools for investors."
The Driver's Seat will primarily track prime retail auto loan performance, as well as auto industry trends and developments in the securitization market.
Accompanying the Driver's Seat, Fitch will issue a one-time publication called The Owner's Manual, which discusses each research tool, how it was created, what it measures, and why it is important in the analysis.
