Financial Guaranty Insurance Corp. has added Kenneth Degen and Robert Velins to its new structured finance group. Both come from MBIA. Degen joined FGIC on May 5, and Velins starts next week.
Degen joins as a managing director at FGIC, bringing a broad range of experience, including expertise in operating company securitizations and pooled aircraft lease ABS.
Velins will also join as a managing director, with a focus on international infrastructure finance and infrastructure securitization.
Spreads ranging from 16-18 basis points over the three-month, interpolated yield curve on the P1 (Moody's) and F1+ (Fitch) notes, to 160 to 170 over the benchmark on the class D notes.
