Kroll Bond Rating Agency has promoted Eric Neglia, a senior managing director, to head of commercial and consumer ABS. In that role, Neglia will assume the duties of Cecil Smart, formerly KBRA’s senior managing director and head of commercial ABS.
Neglia joined KBRA in 2015 and had focused on leading coverage of consumer asset-backed securities. Reporting to Rosemary Kelley, a senior managing director who leads KBRA’s global ABS effort, Neglia and will work alongside her to lead the rating agency’s senior analytical managers in expanding the firm’s analytical service offerings.
“We are excited to announce these changes to our ABS senior management team,” according to a statement from Eric Thompson, KBRA’s global head of structured finance. “We look forward to continuing our leadership position across both esoteric ABS and consumer ABS, while fostering growth opportunities across our analytical team.”
