Mortgage vendor CoreLogic, Santa Ana, Calif., on Wednesday unveiled its WillCap product, a decisioning system that can predict a distressed borrower's willingness and capacity to make mortgage payments.
The analytics company said the product can aid MBS investors and servicers to make strategic loan modification, short sales, and liquidation decisions, at both the loan and portfolio level.
The publicly traded company said WillCap is driven by "behavioral technology" software that is proprietary to the firm.
