Wilmington Trust expands CLO team with haul from Deutsche Bank

Wilmington Trust has added three professionals as senior relationship managers to its CLO and Loan Administration division – all coming from Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Trust unit. The move expands a team that services roughly 6,000 transactions within the structured finance business at Wilmington Trust.

Henry Brigham, Willis Hwang and David Knecht bring a combined 43 years of corporate trust experience to the Wilmington Trust team, according to a statement from Wilmington Trust.

The move will likely enhance the latter’s industry-leading position. Wilmington Trust’s CLO & Loan Administration division stems directly from its Loan Agency and Structured Finance businesses.

At Deutsche Bank, Brigham had been assistant vice president of structured credit services; Hwang was a portfolio accounting analyst; and Knecht was a CDO specialist. All three are expected to start on August 30, will be based in Costa Mesa, Calif., and report to Richard Britt, Wilmington Trust’s head of CLO and loan administration.
