Standard Chartered Hires Global Capital Markets Head

Standard Chartered has hired Carsten Stoehr as global head of capital markets. The new hire is based in Hong Kong, Carsten will report to Lenny Feder, who is group head of financial markets, wholesale banking, the bank stated.

Carsten joins Standard Chartered after a 17-year stint in Credit Suisse where he was most recently head of fixed income Asia Pacific and a part of the global fixed income management committee and Asia Pacific management committee.

“I am extremely excited about Carsten joining Standard Chartered," Feder said. "He is one of the most impressive bankers in Asia and his extensive experience and strong leadership will take our leading Capital Markets business to the next level.”
