SIFMA Launches Educational Web site

The Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) launched a new advocacy and educational Web site called www.InvestedinAmerica.org, which has real stories and examples about the work the industry does to strengthen America’s economy.

The new Web site also provides real-time information to SIFMA member employees about the financial regulatory reform debate as well as a a platform for you to share how SIFMA and its members impact the daily lives of all Americans at www.capitolinterest.org.

"As financial regulatory reform moves through the legislative process, we need to share our story — your story — actively in the coming days and weeks with our elected officials as they debate the future of our industry," said Tim Ryan, SIFMA CEO and president.

He added that the assocation is committed to educating the public and elected officials about how the financial services industry works and to provide a forum to have a voice as the debate in Washington unfolds.
