Advisory, asset management and capital markets firm NewOak Capital has boosted its staff with two more hires.

The firm hired Fan Huang as an associate. At NewOak Capital, she will be part of the RMBS solutions team, where she will be reporting to just-hired Samuel Warren, who heads up the team. Her focus will be to secure and execute risk management and restructuring strategies for a broad array of financial institutions and money managers.

Huang has worked at Woori Global Markets Asia, Deutsche Bank, and Standard & Poor’s. While at Deutsche Bank, Huang was an associate in the bank's structured products group focusing re-REMICs, securitization of RMBS and mortgage loan acquisitions. At S&P, Huang evaluated structured securities for institutional clients as they are required by the Securities and Exchange Commission to mark their positions to market by third independent parties.

The firm also hired  Krystle Tharani as an associate. Tharani worked at Fidelity Investments, focusing on ABCP conduits, CLOs and municipal derivatives. She will be supporting NewOak’s  marketing/sales team via the use of market research and her prior knowledge of the structured market to grow the advisory’s client base as well as the asset management arm.
