Winston & Strawn said this week that veteran financial services attorney Keith Andruschak has joined the firm’s corporate practice as a partner in New York.
Andruschak brings over 20 years of experience advising clients on complex transactions involving the insurance industry. He Andruschak advises clients on a broad range of transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, dispositions and joint ventures, structured finance, insurance-linked securities offerings, and other insurance and reinsurance solutions.
He also advises the industry on unique insurance and annuity product designs, alternative risk transfer arrangements, and derivatives. His clients include domestic and international commercial and investment banks, life and property/casualty insurers and reinsurers, private equity investors, and hedge funds.
“Keith’s practice further broadens our M&A practice and ability to advise clients, particularly in the insurance and financial services sector,” Dominick DeChiara, chair of Winston’s corporate department, said in a press statement.
“Keith is the latest in a series of lateral acquisitions that has added substantial depth to our New York-based M&A, capital markets, and finance practices in recent months,” added Michael Elkin, the managing partner of the firm’s New York office.
