JPMorgan Reorganizes Loan Sales Group

Following the recent departure of group head Douglas Antonacci, JPMorgan has rearranged its leveraged loan sales team. Antonacci left JPMorgan to join Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

The leveraged loan sales group will now report to Tom Cassin, head of investment-grade loan capital markets, and Tim Donahue, head of high yield and leveraged loan capital markets.
Justin Perras, a JPMorgan spokesman, confirmed the moves.

Additionally, Robert Door, a managing director in the debt capital markets group, will move to New York from London to join the sales group. The other members of the team consist of Ben Thompson, a managing director, Kate Flynn, an executive director, Chris Bonner, a vice president, and Pat Griffin, an executive director.

Bank of America nabbed Antonacci, a 22-year JPMorgan veteran, late last year to head up its Americas primary loan sales unit.

However, at the time Antonacci said he wouldn’t leave JPMorgan until sometime in the first quarter (LFN, Dec. 17, 2009). Antonacci focused on primary loan sales at the firm for more than 15 years.
