Investment and research pro Jason Brooks has joined Forum Investment Group in a newly created role, where he will lead the Denver-based firm's credit-related investment activities and strategies.
Brooks will also help scale Forum Investment Group's credit platform and expand its capabilities in real estate lending and structured finance, according to a statement from the company.
Brooks has spent 22 years in the capital markets, real estate securities and investment management industries, with the last 12 as a portfolio manager
And global securitized products analyst, at Janus Henderson Investors, where he managed multi-billion-dollar portfolios and drove risk-adjusted returns through the ups and downs of various market cycles. He led research and investment selection across securitized fixed-income strategies, including commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) and asset-backed securities (ABS).
Lee Beck, president of Forum Investment Group touted Jason's skills as integral to its debt strategy expansion.
"His ability to navigate complex capital structures and assess risk across the real estate and securitized landscape will enhance the value we deliver to our investors and borrowers," Beck said.
