Hogan Lovells Cadwalader has appointed Joanna Suna as a structured finance partner in its New York office, the company announced recently.
Suna brings significant experience in collateralized loan obligations (CLOs) and structured products to the position, including experience in synthetic credit-linked repackagings and rated note feeders, and has guided clients through a wide range of transactional and regulatory issues, according to a company announcement.
She joined the firm from Mayer Brown, where she was a partner in its banking and finance and collateral loan obligations (CLO) groups in its New York office.
Suna is the second structured finance partner to join Hogan Lovells Cadwalader in the last month, according to a company statement.
The appointment is also a return for Suna, who previously worked for Cadwalader on two separate occasions, according to the company.
"We've advised on over 110 CLO deals valued in excess of $50 billion in the past year, and welcoming Joanna back into he fold is a sign of even greater things to come for our clients and our firm," according to a statement from Stu Goldstein, deputy regional managing partner at Hogan Lovells Cadwalader.
