GE Names New Chief Risk Officer

GE Capital appointed Ryan Zanin as its new chief risk officer, the firm announced Wednesday. Zanin takes the place of Jim Colica, who is retiring after serving GE Capital for 27 years.

Zanin will join GE on July 19 and will report to Mike Neal, chairman and CEO of GE Capital. He will also hold the title of vice president.

He was most recently chief risk officer for Wells Fargo. He also served as a chief risk officer for Wachovia. He has also served in several credit and leveraged finance positions with Deutsche Bank.
