Ethan Klemperer joined Experian as the senior vice president and general manager of its capital markets business.
Klemperer will lead Experian capital markets in offering comprehensive consumer and business credit data, analytics and consulting services. This will shed greater insights into credit risk migration, pricing and valuation strategies for whole loan pools and structured finance securities.
Klemperer was formerly at Cerberus Capital Management as a senior member of its operations and advisory Group. Before Cerberus, Klemperer served as the chief financial officer and senior vice president at ERisk, where he was involved in business development, capital raising and strategy. Prior to this stint, Klemperer also worked as a principal at Katalyst, and as a senior consultant at Deloitte Consulting.
Klemperers hire is a reflection of the firm's aim to actively recruit professionals with considerable capital markets experience. He joins Matt Schwab, Steve Hilfer and Jane Zennario in delivering data, analytical and consulting expertise to the secondary markets.
