Global law firm Dechert has added three members to its global finance group in New York. Melissa Wollis joins as counsel; and Erin Hood and Taylor Muller join as associates. They were added as part of the firm’s market-leading collateralized loan obligation (CLO), according to a statement from Dechert.
Hood, Wollis and Muller had all been associates at Milbank for four, three years and four years respectively, according to their LinkedIn profiles.
The three recent hires follows the firm’s onboarding of Jon Burke in October, who returned to the firm as a partner in the firm’s global finance practice, the firm said. From June 2018 to October 2021 Burke was a special counsel at Milbank, and before that he was an associate at Dechert from June 2014 to June 2018.
Dechert serves a diverse global client base and works with more than 50 CLO managers. That client base includes some of the industry’s most prolific CLO underwriters, as well as some of the industry’s largest asset managers and equity investors.
