Dechert, a leading international law firm, has appointed Ralph R. Mazzeo, a partner in its global finance practice, as lead of its asset finance and securitization team.
Mazzeo will oversee the team’s strategic vision to provide cross-disciplinary service to clients on a range of products, including residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS), commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS), single-family rental properties (SFR) and CRE CLOs.
Regularly ranked among top law firms on the league tables, Dechert is known for its particular expertise in guiding clients through complex collateralized loan obligations (CLOs) in the real estate market, according to Chambers and Partners’ 2021 U.S. capital markets rankings.
With 25 years of experience, Mazzeo has been with Dechert for almost 17 years. He was named a 2019 ‘Best of the Bar’ lawyer in the Philadelphia area, based on a ranking provided by an independent professional association to promote transparency and objective standards.
