Matt Rheault and Jeff Jones have joined Citizens Capital Markets & Advisory as managing directors in its debt capital markets practice, gaining both from Wells Fargo, the company announced.

Jones will lead the firm's asset-backed securities (ABS) and collateralized loan obligation (CLO) capital markets efforts, while Rheault will be head of the business' syndicate business, according to a statement from Citizens.

Prior to joining the firm, Jones was at Wells Fargo for 19 years, including helping the company grow its structured products group. Throughout his career, he worked across fixed income markets, syndication, distribution and client relationship management, Citizens said.

Rheault had been co-head of leveraged debt capital markets at Wells Fargo Corporate & Investment Banking, where he originated, structured, distributed and managed risk for non-investment-grade public and sponsor-backed companies.

"Their experience advising issuers and investors across a range of market environments will further strengthen our ability to deliver innovative clients," according to a statement from the company.

Together Jones and Rheault bring a combined four decades of combined experience to their new roles, and will report to Jerry Hullinger, Citizens' head of debt capital markets.
