Broadridge Financial Solutions released the Decision Support Tools (DSTools) functionality for MBS Expert, its MBS processing solution.
DSTools enables traders, portfolio managers and middle-office support staff to perform advanced, real-time analysis and collateral management of MBS pool inventory.
According to a release from Broadridge, MBS Expert with DSTools enhances the efficiency and profitability of MBS workflow from deal creation and pre-trade compliance validation, to ordering, execution, allocation and settlement.
DSTools' addition also expands the core analytic capabilities of MBS Expert and enables traders and portfolio managers to perform on a consolidated basis inventory analysis across a portfolio or grouping of portfolios.
DSTools also offers MBS Expert clients the ability to filter and analyze pool inventory based upon the most up-to-date indicative pool data. This danalysis allows clients to generate bid lists, create deals and hold the associated inventory while managing orders.
MBS Expert is an institutional MBS processing solution made to handle all facets of TBA trade processing. The system's different modules allow the user to manage the entire lifecycle of MBS trades from their inception to settlement. This process covers MBS TBA trade entry, FICC RTTM, submission TBA and pool netting, pool allocations and substitutions, full EPN processing, inventory management, TBA pair offs, and trade assignments.
