BofA Merrill Hires for Mortgage Origination Sales

Bank of America Merrill Lynch has hired Steve Harris for its mortgage department as managing director in the Americas origination sales. The new hire will be reporting into  Michael Hokin, who is head of Americas mortgages and securitized product sales at the bank.

As earlier reported by StructuredFinanceNews.com, Hokin, who was formerly head of global securitized markets sales at Citigroup, joined BofA Merrill in his current position last September.

Before BofA Merrill, Harris had a six-month stint at Rafferty Capital as a manager in structured products. Prior to that, he was at Goldman Sachs from 1987 to 2009 as a manager in mortgage sales.
