Barclays Hires One More for its Securitization Group

After making several securitization hires and underscoring the expansion of its securitized products origination (SPO) group, Barclays Capital has hired Jonathan Wu from JPMorgan Securities. Please see link for details of Barclays' previous hires.

Wu, who is expected to join the firm in June as a vice president, will focus on consumer ABS, working closely with Martin Attea. Attea, who was previously from Morgan Stanley, is the bank's new senior originator of consumer securitization transactions. He was formerly part of Lehman Brothers/Barclays until 2009.

Meanwhile, Wu will report to Cory Wishengrad and Diane Rinnovatore, co-heads of SPO.

At JPMorgan, Wu was a vice president in the firm's securitized products group who focused on auto and equipment ABS origination. He started his career at the bank in 2001.
