Clifford Chance has poached Gianluca Bacchiocchi from DLA Piper as a partner.
Much of Bacchiocchi's practice has been focused on repping sponsors, issuers and underwriters in cross-border deals out of Latin America. His areas of experience include asset-backeds and private deals backed by future flows, which in LatAm mostly refers to diversified payment rights linked to banks' electronic money flows.
Prior to DLA Piper, which he joined in July 2010, Bacchiocchi worked at Greenberg Traurig. From 2000 to 2009 he was a partner at Mayer Brown.
Bacchiocchi is based in New York.
