UBS has named Giacomo Petrobelli and Boris Okuliar as co-heads of the Europe, Middle East and Africa leverage capital markets group.
They will both report to Brendan Connolly, UBS’ global head of leverage capital markets, and will be based in London.
Petrobelli has held roles in UBS’ leveraged finance, origination, capital markets and sales groups. Okuliar joined from Barclays, where he was made head of the firm’s public leverage syndicate in 2007.
UBS recently hired Vincent Gomez as an executive director and senior high yield trader and Derrick Herndon as a managing director and head of credit trading in Europe. The firm also recently added Andrew Crowston, Aneta McGuinness, Frank Palamara and Pablo Terpolilli to its leveraged finance sales team,
