Trepp has acquired the online REIT information service called REITCafe.
The service, previously held by Euromoney Institutional Investor’s news group, provides REIT news and updates using its web site, weekly online newsletter, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
A Trepp press release described the deal as beneficial for both sides, allowing the firm to expand its CRE information offering to clients while also allowing REITCafe subscribers access to its exclusive data.
“This acquisition is also consistent with our strategy to provide our rapidly diversifying client base with the broader range of CRE information in which they have shown interest,” Trepp CEO Annemarie DiCola said in reference to the deal.
