The American Securitization Forum (ASF) just announced that Sandra Thompson, director of the division of supervision and consumer protection at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC), will be speaking at the opening program of the ASF 2009 conference this Monday.
Thompson will be replacing FDIC Chairman Sheila Bair as the featured guest. Thompson will speak at 9:00 am after the first general session. The ASF will be held from Feb.8 to Feb 11 at The Venentian hotel in Las Vegas.
The notes will price against Treasurys, with spreads expected to fall between 85 and 90 basis points over the benchmark.
