New York City-based real estate firm Stonehenge Partners hired Richard Dansereau as managing director of the firm’s investment management division.

Stonehenge Partners invests in NYC residential properties. Dansereau is responsible for maintaining the firm’s relationships with institutional and private investors.

Before Stonehenge,  Dansereau was president and chief operating officer of Cadim, a real estate division of Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, which is a pension fund manager based in Canada.

During his nine years at the Caisse, he managed a portfolio of real estate assets valued at more than CDN $10 billion as of 12/31/08 and comprised primarily of residential and hospitality properties.

The new hire also oversaw Cadim’s international portfolio with offices in Shanghai and New Delhi and managed a network of partnerships and subsidiaries around the world.

Dansereau started his real estate career in brokerage. Over the past 26 years, he was involved in all aspects of real estate for different firms.

“Richard’s appointment underscores our firm’s commitment to developing strong relationships with our investment partners,” said Stonehenge Partners’ co-owners, Ofer Yardeni and Joel Seiden. “Stonehenge’s concentrated approach to acquiring and managing real estate results in value creation and long-term profit growth for our investors.”
