Sohn No Longer Securitization Head at Credit Suisse

Albert Sohn, previously head of securitized products at Credit Suisse, will move into alternative investments in asset management at the bank. In his new position, Sohn will manage structured credit and residential real estate assets, according to an internal memo obtained by ASR

Sohn will report to Jonathan McHardy, managing director of in the asset management division at Credit Suisse. Sohn's, who has has been with Credit Suisse for more than 18 years in different roles within securitized products, move was effective Jan. 1.

Brian Chin will assume Sohn’s role as head of the bank's securitized products unit, the internal memo said. Chin joined Credit Suisse in 2003.

Chin will join the FID Management Committee. He will report to Gael de Boissard, managing director based in London in the bank's investment banking division, as well as Tim O'Hara, managing drector and co-head of global securities in the investment banking division based in New York.

Sohn will be working with Chin throughout the transition period.
