SocGen's Appoints Staff For Capital Raising and Fixed Income

Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking appointed Jean-François Despoux as global head of real estate and lodging within its capital raising and financing division.

Despoux is based in London and will report to Jean-Luc Parer, Jean-Francois Mazaud and Pierre Palmieri, who head up this division. He will replace Bertrand Descours, who will retire after a 37-year career with the bank. Despoux was previously deputy head of capital market finance and global head of securitization.

Within the fixed income, currencies and commodities division, Jim Ahern and Marc
Nocart 
were named joint global heads of securitization.

Ahern is based in New York and retains his role as head of capital market finance for the Americas.  Nocart is based in Paris and was previously co-head of securitization for Europe.

They both report to David Coxon, global head of capital markets finance and his recently appointed deputy Antoine Bostsarron.

Ahern also reports locally to Liz Hogan and Jerome Jacques, who head the fixed-income, currencies and commodities division for the Americas
