Investment management firm RS Investments added a new portfolio manager, it announced late Thursday.
The firm named Kevin Booth co-portfolio manager of the RS High Yield Bond Fund. He joined co-portfolio managers Marc Gross and Howard Most.
Booth was most recently a managing director and BlackRock/Merrill Lynch Investment Managers and was cohead of BlackRock’s leveraged finance business until this past January. He specialized in leveraged loans, high yield bonds and distressed debt.
RS Investments was founded in 1986 and is an independent subsidiary of broker dealer Guardian Investor Services. It has offices in San Francisco and New York.
