Ganesh Rajendra will become global head of ABS strategy at the Royal Bank of Scotland this month, according to published reports.
Rajendra headed structured products advisory and research at Henderson Global Investors until the middle of December. He joined Henderson on April 20. Rajendra will replace Ronald Thompson who recently moved to Knight Libertas U.K.
Rajendra is a veteran of the structured finance industry with an accomplished career in sell-side research.
Before joining Henderson, he was a managing director in Deutsche Bank’s global markets research group where he led a top-ranked securitization research team for nearly eight years.
Prior to this, he worked at Merrill Lynch in the international structured credit research team.
