PwC Hires Focus on U.K. CRE Investments

PwC has hired Simon Marriott and Algernon Kent to its commercial and corporate real estate practice to help expand its growing asset and investment management services.

They will advise institutional and private investor clients across all principal property asset classes in the U.K. and Europe. A spokesperson at the firm said that both team are already involved in many instances of advisory in the area of CMBS.

Mariott joins the firm as director. He was previously at Oxford Properties Group where he was managing director, senior vice president investments, Europe.

Kent joins as senior manager. He previously worked at Hammerson, where he was an investment surveyor in the London team.

They previously worked together at Invista REIM where they were responsible for the growth and asset management of the St James’s Place property funds.
