Point Capital Partners Announces New Head of Fixed Income

Kevin C. O'Connor has joined Point Capital Partners, LLC (PCP) as a Partner.

O'Connor will also serve as a managing director and head of fixed income of Point Capital Markets (PCM), the wholly-owned broker-dealer subsidiary of PCP. He will be responsible for developing new lines of business for the broker-dealer, including municipal securities sales, trading and underwriting.

Prior to joining PCP, O'Connor was a managing director and co-head of fixed iIncome at SecondMarket, a SEC-regulated alternative trading system, registered broker dealer.

O'Connor joined SecondMarket in 2008 from JPMorgan Chase & Co., where he started its Auction-Rate Securities (ARS) trading desk in 2000. Previously, he held positions at Citigroup and Deutsche Bank.
