NewOak Hires Expert in CRE CDOs

NewOak Capital hired Malay Bansal, the former head of CRE CDOs at Merrill Lynch, as a managing director in CMBS.

Bansal will be working as part of a team co-headed by both Priscilla Torres and Craig Lieberman.

Commercial real estate is one of NewOaks thrusts that has generated great momentum with our clients, said James Frischling, president and co-founder of NewOak. Malays addition brings in additional senior talent. His expertise in CRE CDOs will add greatly to our firms advisory solution business, helping our clients to assess the risk that they currently hold.
