NewOak Capital appointed Janet Christensen as managing director of marketing, covering institutional clients such as private equities and financial institutions in New York and London.
Janets experience in the private equity area and her personal approach to client and investor relationships adds to our continued push for client-focused solutions, said Ron DVari, CEO and co-founder of NewOak Capital.
Janet Christensen co-founded Tegris, a privately held firm specializing in M&A and asset management. Before Tegris, Christensen had an over 17 year stint at The Blackstone Group as chief of staff for CEO Stephen A. Schwarzmans office overseeing day-to-day operations; assisting in raising of multiple private equity funds; maintaining client and investor relations; and internal and external communications.
Prior to Blackstone, Christensen worked with the chairman & CEO of NW Ayer, which is Americas first advertising agency, in itss Los Angeles office.
