Moody's Investors Service just started a cross-financial sector publication called Moodys Credit Card Statement that features articles written by the rating agency's structured finance, banking, and retail analysts.
The newsletter focuses on credit card ABS, credit card issuers, as well as the industries affected by the increasing consumer debt and delinquency rates such as retail and banking.
Tomorrow the rating agency will hold the first in a series of teleconferences to discuss the current edition of the newsletter.
Topics for the first edition include include: credit card remittance reports painting a grim picture, alternative sources of liquidity for card issuers and the retail credit losing its luster.
