Mission Capital Advisors Expands NY Office

Mission Capital Advisors made two new hires to the firm's New York office. It hired Jordan Ray as director of sales and training and Michael Britvan as an analyst.

In his new role, Ray will handle business development, sourcing and executing loan sale opportunities, assisting buyers by arranging capital for note purchase positions, rediscount opportunities, as well as structuring conventional real estate debt and equity.

Before Mission Capital, Ray was a managing director at The Ackman-Ziff Real Estate Group, a New York real estate capital advisory firm, where he structured and completed over $2 billion of closed debt, mezzanine, preferred equity and joint venture equity transactions. Ray spent over seven years with Ackman-Ziff, where he also co-launched and co-managed the firm's Miami office.

In his new role at Mission Capital, Britvan will handle business development, trading, project management and due diligence document management.

Before Mission Capital, Britvan was a junior sourcer at Silver Point Capital's secondary loans acquisition group. His responsibilities included sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, performing due diligence, and analyzing bank financial data.

"Staff additions like Jordan and Michael will play a key role in the broadening of our business plan moving forward in both the private and government sectors," said David Tobin, principal at Mission Capital Advisors. "From new business to client service, due diligence and overall market knowledge, their positions are integral to our continued growth in New York, where we've recently moved our headquarters to an 8,400 square foot space at 32 Avenue of the Americas."
