Matrix Builds Senior Fixed-Income Team with Six New Hires

Matrix Corporate Capital (MCC) completed the first stage of its fixed-income build up by hiring senior team leaders in sales, trading and origination.

Maureen Osborne joined Matrix from Wachovia where she ran sales into the Nordic region. She has over 20 years experience in complex financial instruments. Her areas of expertise include high yield, distressed debt and structured investments. Previously, she was a senior salesperson at BNP Paribas, Barclays and JPMorgan.

Meanwhile, Tim Van Den Brande is now Matrix’s senior fixed-income salesperson covering Belgium, France and Luxembourg. His expertise lies across all credit classes. Before setting up his own advisory business, he was head of structured credit derivatives at JPMorgan.

Elaine Hughes joined Matrix's fixed-income distribution team, having previously worked at a number of investment banks, including Barclays, BNP and Dresdner.

James Berry was formerly from brokerage firm MINT, where he developed new cash and CDS trading platforms. At Matrix, he will be extending its trading capabilities with market counterparties and liquid instruments, while developing new distribution platforms.

In his new position at Matrix, Carter Kegel will develop financial institutions coverage and new capital, liquidity, asset and liability management themes for the firm. He was formerly from Deutsche Bank where he was a senior originator within debt capital markets and rose to be chief administrative officer and head of relationship management.

MCC is a unit of Matrix Group and includes corporate finance, equity broking, research and fixed income.
