Macquarie Hires Head of Asia Structuring

Macquarie Group equities broking unit appointed Jeremy Kloiser-Jones to the new role of Asia head of structuring and derivatives solutions.

He will be responsible for expanding the range of the firm's derivatives products sold to institutional and corporate clients in the region.

Kloiser-Jones, who was previously head of derivative sales at JPMorgan Chase and Lehman Brothers Holdings in Japan, will be based in Hong Kong and start his new role Dec. 1. He will report to Kieran Moffat, the Australian bank's head of derivatives business in Asia.

Macquarie Securities has more than 900 employees in Asia, which includes more than 300 equity research and sales staff who cover over 1,200 stocks in Asia.
