In the ASR Scorecards database's preliminary public lead manager rankings for 2Q12, JPMorgan Securities grabbed the top slot with $14.5 billion sold and an 18.9% market share. It climbed one spot from 2Q11 with a 16.0% market share and $5.2 billion sold. ASR's 2Q12 numbers are as of June 26, while its 2Q11 numbers are as of June 30, 2011.
Barclays Capital is the second runner-up in the 2Q12 preliminary results with $9.3 billion sold and a market share of 12.1%. Barclays sold less in 2Q11 with $2.9 billion and a market share of 8.9%
In third place for 2Q12 is Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Dropping from the No. 1 spot in 2Q11, the bank now has a market share of 10.7% and sold $8.2 billion.
Citigroup Global Markets and RBS Securities also made it into the top five.
