John Vibert will join Prudential Fixed Income, a business of Prudential Financial, as a managing director of structured products in August.

At Prudential, he will work closely with Richard Rogers to co-lead the firm’s structured finance team.

“John’s deep experience in securitized markets, as well as his ability to identify value, brings leadership and depth to our structured products team,” said James Sullivan, head of Prudential Fixed Income in a press release.

He joins the team from BlackRock, where he was a lead portfolio manager and lead trader for its non-agency RMBS trading team

Before joining BlackRock, Vibert was a managing director at Credit Suisse, where he was head of adjustable-rate mortgage trading and co-head of non-agency RMBS trading. Earlier, he was a mortgage trader at Morgan Stanley and worked as a quantitative analyst at Salomon Brothers.
